O'MEARA WINS LEADING WALES AWARD

Cadwyn Housing Association's chief executive and chair to
Community Housing Cymru, Chris O'Meara has won the Leading
Wales Award in the category of Voluntary and Not for Profit
Organisations.
The annual awards, supported by Legal and General, have
been developed by a consortium of professional institutes,
voluntary and public bodies, as well as private companies
who seek to recognise and celebrate personal achievement in
outstanding leadership and management in Wales.
On winning the award at the ceremony at the Hilton Hotel
in Cardiff, Chris O'Meara said: "I am delighted to have
won the award and would like to thank everyone at both Cadwyn
and Community Housing Cymru for their hard work and dedication."
Community Housing Cymru chief executive, Nick Bennett, added:
"Chris has been an inspiring and energetic chair during
a time of great change and challenge."
This year's ceremony was hosted by BBC presenter Jamie Owen,
who said: "Good leadership is at the heart of every flourishing
organisation and is enormously important to the vibrancy and
success of business."
