The Leading Wales Awards Consortium is seeking “Inspirational Leaders”.

We invite you to describe how your nominee demonstrates this key leadership quality in answer to the following questions. Answers to each question should be no more than 250 words in length. Please add the requested 30 word summary and then give the 3 words, which best describe why you find your nominee’s leadership inspirational.

	How do they inspire others?
	What are their other leadership qualities?
	What has their leadership achieved?

Guidance to nominators:

1.	If you prefer to give a list of bullet points under each question, rather than writing a paragraph, that is perfectly acceptable
2.	The judges urge you to make your nominations evidence based i.e. give specific examples in answer to each of the questions as much as possible.
3.	Team Leader Award: for the purposes of this award, nominators should regard a “team” as any self-contained group within a company or organisation.
4.	Public Sector categories: For the purpose of the awards, schools, hospitals, care homes etc. can be treated as separate organisations from their “parent” body, with the number of employees being the defining characteristic in terms of category entry.

The awards are open to individuals, from all levels within their business or organisation and are not confined to those in senior posts.

It is vital that nominees are available to attend (if required) the Awards Judging on Monday 15th January 2007, since no alternative dates can be provided for the judging interviews.
