CHWARAE TEG COMPLETES SUPPORTERS LINE UP

Each of the eight categories in this year's awards, in association with Real Radio Wales, now has support from Welsh organisations including FSB Wales, Chwarae Teg and Bridgend College.

Chwarae Teg is supporting two categories through its Agile Nation Project: Team Leader and Women in Leadership. The organisation promotes the economic development of women in Wales, working with Government, employers and individuals to help create an environment where women can achieve their potential. Chwarae Teg's Agile Nation project, funded by the European Social Fund and the Welsh Government, currently supports over 1,500 women across Wales, helping them to gain the skills to further their career.

Two other new supporters also include FSB Wales, supporting the Real-Life Entrepreneurial Leadership in the Private Sector and Bridgend College, Leading Leadership Skills Development.

And other category sponsorships that have been renewed from 2011 include: Public Sector by Public Service Management Wales (PSMW), Voluntary / Not for Profit by the Fairwood Trust, Social Enterprise by the Welsh Social Enterprise Coalition and Young Leader by Campus CMI in association with  StudyFlex.

Leading Wales Awards Consortium Chair, Barbara Chidgey, added; "We are delighted to have the support of a fantastic range of Welsh membership organisations that work across the public, private, social enterprise and not-for-profit sectors and between them actively embrace and promote leadership in their communities. The benefit to everyone is that they can really help to push the message through their networks."
